Temporary (bee) Box. Blackened mild steel, wood, acrylic ink, plaster bandage, white pepper, varnish, mirror, glue. 870 x 77 x 73 mm. 2025. <Holding religion as a guideline for moral codes in society, Temporary (bee) Box engages with conceptual baptism as a form of spiritual cleansing. The mirror in the plumbing hole acts as a key, extending the sculpture to the context surrounding it, a reflective decision drawn from my experience of cultural diaspora. Traces of cleansing leave their disruptive imprint; the smell of faint white pepper speaks to Asiatic adaptations of self-defence mechanisms against violence.>
